“It was a good test. St. Martin’s played a great game. They played different defenses and it gave us the chance to work on some stuff.”
On what he learned about the team:
“I really like our aggressiveness. I like the fact that we played hard the entire game, but we have to come up with loose balls. We have to stick with our stuff. A lot of times we broke out of our stuff right away. ”
On getting the victory:
“It’s more for these guys than it is for me. There’s been some pressure put on them by me and the situation and it’s nice to say you’ve won a game, especially after these guys had lost so many for a long time. I try to have some positive things to say and the main one was that we won the game.”

“We love the system, so going out there and trying to run the system wasn’t that hard of a job. We tried our best to do everything, it didn’t come out how we wanted at times, but we can work on it and its going to be good by the time the season ends.”
On the team’s effort:
“We gave a really good effort on offense and defense. The win brought our spirits up from losing so much last year. But we still have work to do. Our effort was really good and that was one of the best points from the game, our defense needs to step up though.”
