PLAYER NOTES
Senior Rickey Claitt scored a season and career-best 21 points. Claitt surpassed his previous career best of 11 points in the first half alone, scoring 13. He was a perfect 5-for-5 (3-for-3 3-point) from the field in the first half and was 9-of-12 for the game.
Sophomore Omari Johnson scored a season-high 12 points (5-of-5 FT).
Johnson led the team with a season best seven rebounds.
Junior Roeland Shaftenaar scored a season and career-best 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line.
Schaftenaar recorded a season and career-best three blocks, tied his career best with four assists, and tied a season best four rebounds.
Sophomore Daniel Deane recorded a season and career-best three assists and tied his career long in minutes played with 29.
Schaftenaar and Johnson each recorded their ninth double-digit scoring performance of their careers, Josh Tarver (10 points) recorded his 23rd and Claitt recorded his third.
Junior Josh Tarver tied his season highs with two steals and 40 minutes played. Also, he grabbed a season high four rebounds.
Freshman David Sturner had season and career-highs with nine minutes played, two rebounds and one assist.
Claitt played a season and career-long 43 minutes.
Schaftenaar’s eight free-throws made and three blocked shots were team highs this season.
