Van Nuys, CA – Oregon State junior utility player was named a second team Easton Sports All-American earlier this week.
All-American consideration is based on individual performance throughout the year and marks the second straight selection by Miranda, who was a first team honoree in 2006.
Miranda, from Camarillo, Calif., led the Beavers in nine different statistical categories on the year and became the only player in Oregon State history to score 50 or more runs in back-to-back seasons. She is a two-time first team All-Pac-10 honoree and is the only softball player in OSU history to be named a first team All-Pacific Region selection three times in her career.
