Baseball Duo to Appear on AM Northwest Thursday, NikeTown on Friday
Barney and Kunz both played major roles in the Beavers’ back-to-back national titles. Barney, a recent draft selection of the Chicago Cubs, has been selected to the All-Pac-10 First Team twice. The shortstop put OSU ahead to stay in the final game of the College World Series with a second inning two-run home run.
Kunz had a team-leading 12 saves this season. The first round draft selection of the New York Mets final save came in game one of the CWS in the Beavers’ 3-2 win over Cal State-Fullerton.
