Bob Westlund - Oregon State University Athletics

Bob Westlund joined the Oregon State University staff in September of 1992 as senior development director for the Department of Athletics with responsibilities toward major gifts and capital campaigns. He currently is the Vice President for Principal Gifts to Athletics.

Westlund has been instrumental in fundraising for the athletic department, securing nearly $50 million over the year. His efforts have assisted the program in major facility improvements such as the ongoing expansion of Reser Stadium, The Valley Football Center, the Merritt-Truax Indoor Center, the Prothro Football Complex and Goss Stadium.

Prior to joining the OSU staff, Westlund was the vice president of the W.M. Keck Jr., Foundation in Los Angeles and as director and Vice President of the Keck family’s Coalinga Corporation. Established in 1954, the Keck Foundation is one of the nation's largest philanthropic organizations.

Westlund served as the development director at the University of Southern California School of Business from 1975-80 and as executive director of development for the Southern California region from 1980-85.

Westlund has two grown children, Ross and Alison.
