860 AM KPAM and FSN NW Expand Beaver Baseball Coverage

Corvallis – Oregon State University Athletics media partners and have announced expanded coverage of Beaver baseball beginning this weekend. The 2006 national champions open the College World Series Saturday at 4 p.m. PDT against the Cal State-Fullerton Titans.

Beginning Monday, 860 AM KPAM sports director Ron Callan will report live throughout the series on the “Bob Miller in the Morning” program weekday mornings and throughout the day during newscasts, Listen to Miller’s program Friday morning for an interview with head coach Pat Casey or with four-time Oregon Sportscaster of the Year Mike Parker.

The Beavers’ regional television home, FSN Northwest, will begin airing live reports from Rosenblatt Stadium with Todd Mansfield beginning Saturday. Mansfield will be bringing fans specials and features from Omaha as the Beavers play for their second consecutive national title. FSN Northwest reaches 3.5 million households in the Pacific Northwest, including over 1 million in Oregon.

The Beaver Sports Radio Network for baseball has once again expanded this week, to include KTIZ 1240-AM in Pendleton and KBZY 1490-AM in Salem.
