Crew Takes JV and Novices to Seattle

“Getting another race under your belt is always good experience, especially for the junior varsity and novice guys because they have such limited experience,” said assistant coach Dave Friedericks. “Any time they go down the race course they learn a great deal. It’s going to be a race in a high pressure situation, because there will be so many people watching. It’s going to give them a test of performance under pressure.”

The 21st-annual Windermere Cup races are the headline events of the 38th-annual Opening Day Regatta. Races will begin at 10:20 a.m. with the first OSU race (N8+) taking place at 10:58.
At 11:10 the JV8+ will be racing for the Erickson Cascade Cup.
