Jon Strowbridge - Oregon State University Athletics

2007: Jonathan is in his second year as the team’s holder on all placekicks...part of a unit that returns the long snapper (Joel Cohen) and kicker (Alexis Serna)...also is a backup punter. 2006: Jonathan was the team’s holder on placekicks for the entire season. 2005: Jonathan was a scout team member who often worked with the placekickers and punters. 2004: Scout team member. 2003: Redshirt.

CORVALLIS: Jonathan lettered and started three years for head coach Chris McGowan...earned honorable mention all-state and first team All-Valley League honors as a senior...also played fullback and linebacker during his prep career...third team all-league linebacker...also lettered two years in wrestling and track, and one in baseball.

PERSONAL: Born in Corvallis...son of Ed and Judy Strowbridge...Ed is a behavior specialist and Judy is an office manager...has three sisters, Jessica, Stephanie and Michelle...his great grandfather, Edwin Strowbridge, was a football student-athlete at Oregon...majoring in exercise and sports science and is on track to graduate in June.
