2007: Joey is one of the most improved players on the team and enters the year as the Pac-10 Conference’s leading returning tackler...one of three returning starting linebackers in the program. 2006: Joey was 10^th in the Pac-10 with 98 tackles...a season-high 10 tackles at UCLA and Hawai’i...intercepted Arizona’s Kris Heavner in the fourth quarter to stop a Wildcat drive into OSU territory...three tackles-for-loss in the win over Missouri in the Sun Bowl, all in a late fourth quarter drive that set up OSU for the winning scores...signed with OSU during the December (2005) JC signing period.

COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS: Listed 14^th on the top-50 junior college prospects listCoaches Association...made a team-high 103 tackles as a sophomore, including 11.5 sacks...scored touchdowns on a fumble recovery and an interception...the team finished 12-1 for the season, losing in the SoCal Championship Game Dec. 3 to Grossmont 24-19 – Grossmont earned the JC National Championship...as a freshman, COC was 14-0 and won the state title...had 59 tackles during the regular season as a freshman.

AGOURA: All-CIF as a senior at Agoura after helping the team to a 12-2 mark and second place finish in the conference...team MVP as a senior...defensive MVP of an East-West All-Star Game.

PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Lynn LaRocque...has one sister, Jackie...majoring in speech communication and is on track to graduate in June.
