National Publication Highlights Football Team - Oregon State University Athletics

Corvallis – One of the nation’s top college football publications has selected the Oregon State University football team No. 22 in its preseason rankings.

The editorial staff has also selected junior offensive guard and senior placekicker as preseason second team All-Americans and first team All-Pac-10 Conference. Senior wide receiver/punt returner , senior running back , senior offensive guard and senior linebacker also were selected first team all-conference. Bernard is one of four players from the Pacific Northwest on Athlon’s regional cover.

OSU is currently enjoying a spike in season ticket sales as it comes off an exciting 10-win season ending in a classic Sun Bowl win. Season tickets can be purchased, including seats in the amenity filled Club Level, at any time by visiting , calling 1-800-GO-Beavs or visiting the Gill Coliseum ticket office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The 2007 season begins Thurs., Aug. 30 vs. the Utah Utes at Reser Stadium in one of the most anticipated home openers in several seasons.
