Joel Cohen

2007: Joel was awarded a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA during winter term...the team’s primary snapper on field goals and punts...part of the combination that has made Alexis Serna one of the premier kickers in the nation. 2006: The starting snapper for the entire season...his accuracy helped placekicker Alexis Serna connect on all 45 extra point attempts and 22 of 29 field goal tries. 2005: Joel earned the starting snapper position for field goals and punts prior to the season, but he suffered a year-ending knee injury in game three at COLLEGE OF DUPAGE: Joel played one season (2004) for the Glen Ellyn, Illinois school...he lettered as the long snapper and as a center...entered the school in the fall of 2002, but did not play in ’02 and ’03 (injuries). PERSONAL: Born in Chicago...son of Steven Cohen and Pamm Kesselring...has one brother and one sister...enjoys college basketball and weightlifting...majoring in liberal studies and is on track to graduate in December.
