“They played real well again. We moved up a few spots, like we wanted to.” Coach Brian Watts said on Friday. “We just want to stick to our game plan like we have the last two days; it seems to be working out just fine. I think the biggest thing is we had a late tee time today. The guys saw the leader board and knew what they needed to do. We got off to a slow start, we couldn’t make any putts. After that, it was a great day. We started making some putts which led to birdies. It was like there was a lid on the cup for the first couple holes; we just couldn’t make any putts. Once we started making putts, it made all the difference. . Diego played real well. James got off to a slow start, but had a great finish. Alex has played great all tournament. He really turned it around late in the round and that really helped us out. Depending on the weather, we’re going to have to go out and shoot at least 8-12 under tomorrow. If we continue to play the way we have played the past two days, I think the guys will be where they need to be at the end of the day tomorrow. The biggest thing is that they stayed patient today when the putts weren’t falling. They played with a lot of heart and it showed.”
