Softball's Cambria Miranda Earns First Team All-Pacific Region Honors For The Third Straight Year

Corvallis, OR Oregon State junior utility player earned prestigious first team All-Pacific Region honors for the third consecutive year, making her eligible for All-America accolades. Miranda, from Camarillo, Calif., is the only softball player in OSU history to be named a first team All-Pacific Region selection three times in her career. A two-time first team All-Pac-10 honoree, Miranda currently leads the team in eight different statistical categories and is closing in on the school’s single season record for runs scored (47) and RBI (43). She is the only player in Oregon State history to score 40 or more runs in back-to-back seasons. Oregon State begins its quest to return to the Women’s College World Series on Friday at 1:30 p.m. PDT when the Beavers open NCAA Regional Tournament action in Ann Arbor, Mich., against University of Louisville.
