Adam Koets Selected by the New York Giants in the NFL Draft

Former Oregon State tackle has been drafted with the 15th pick in the sixth round (189th overall) by the New York Giants on Sunday in the 2007 National Football League Draft.

Koets earned four letters while making 37 consecutive starts. The Santa Ana, Calif., native was a three-time Pac-10 Second Team All-Academic selection and earned 2006 Pac-10 second team as a player.

Koets is the highest offensive lineman selected in the Draft from OSU since Mitch White was a sixth-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2001.

Koets joins as Beavers taken in the 2007 draft.
