Women's Golf Finishes Day 1 of Pac-10s

As a team OSU shot a 328 on the par-72, 6,196 yard course. Freshman shot a team low score of 80 for the day that leaves her in a tie for 30th place.
“We had a rough start on the first five holes, which are some of the tougher you face on this course, and we lost some confidence,” said OSU head coach .
Leading the individual field is
“We are reevaluating our game plan tonight and making some adjustments, mainly chipping and putting. The green speed is somewhere between a 12 or 13 on the meter, which is US Open type speed. They are very touchy and we are working to get a hold of them and get some confidence back and then just go out tomorrow and play the best golf that we can.”
The Pac-10 Championship resumes tomorrow morning with the first OSU teeing off at 9:24 a.m.
