Both Michael and Steve missed most of a season at OSU with a broken foot (Michael in 2005-06, Steve in 1977-78) ... Has three siblings, Marques (who played basketball at Willamette), Christin (who played basketball at Concordia) and Allison ... Graduated with a degree in ethnic studies in spring 2006 and is now pursuing a second degree.
