Corvallis, OR The No. 16 ranked Oregon State softball team will have two of its games televised this week. Friday’s game at No. 4 Arizona will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis on FSN, while Sunday’s 1 p.m. game at No. 8 Arizona State will be televised live nationally on ESPN2.
Friday’s 7 p.m. match-up against the defending national champion Wildcats will air on Sunday at 4 p.m. on FSN Northwest cable channel 34. The game can also be viewed live via Beaver Nation Online (BNO). Both Arizona and Oregon State partner with XOS Technology for web-hosting and audio/visual service. The feed will be courtesy of Arizona’s stadium video.
Sunday’s ESPN2 telecast between the Beavers and Sun Devils is a rematch of last year’s Women’s College World Series second round game. Olympian Jessica Mendoza, the sister of former Oregon State second baseman Alana Mendoza (2002-05), is scheduled to provide the color analysis.
Both Oregon State and Arizona State are currently tied for second place in the Pacific-10 Conference standings with a 5-3 record, while Arizona leads the league with a 7-1 mark.
