"The venue at Stanford is awesome," said sixth-year head coach . "It’s a tournament that everybody looks forward to every year. This year we’re in a little different situation than the last couple of years. We should be in very good shape for making the NCAA Regionals. So we obviously want to play well, but we don’t have the pressure of thinking that we have to win the tournament to go to the postseason. Our guys have been playing solid golf the last three or four weeks and I don’t expect anything to change. We’re going down there with good attitudes and we’ll see what happens."
Among the regulars, Allenby leads the scorers with 72.33 strokes per round, followed by Johnson (72.53), Velasquez (72.81) and Williams (73.88).
This is OSU’s last event prior to the Pac-10 Championships, hosted by Oregon, on April 23-25.
