Men's Soccer Announces 2006 Schedule

“We are excited to test our skills against so many regional opponents this fall,” eighth-year OSU Coach Dana Taylor said. “Our schedule is very strong and allows us to play several games against NCAA Tournament teams.”

OSU has the misfortune of playing its first three Pac-10 games on the road (at Washington, San Diego State and UCLA), but counter that by ending the Pac-10 season against those same three schools at home. In between, OSU faces
OSU takes a break from conference play on Oct. 31 to travel to Cal State Northridge, which reached the NCAA’s third round in 2005.
For the first time in 2006, the Beavers will play night games, as lights are being added to Lorenz Field.
The 2005 Beavers went 9-7-4 overall and placed third in the Pacific-10 Conference with a 5-5 record. OSU narrowly missed out on a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
