McDermott filled the Beavers’ director of operations role in 2005 and was a volunteer coach in 2004. McDermott primarily dealt with planning team travel, game day operations and summer camp operations.
In 2005, Rockwell and McDermott helped the Beavers, a team on the rise, to a seventh-place finish in the Pac-10 Conference and an overall record of 11-13.
Liskevych hopes to have new personnel in place quickly.
