CORVALLIS, Ore. Five home meets are on the slate for the 2007 Oregon State gymnastics season, as announced Monday by head coach . The season opens with OSU’s longest road trip of the year, as the Beavers will cross the country to compete at the University of Florida, Jan. 12.
Oregon State returns to the friendly atmosphere of Gill Coliseum for its home debut the following week against Pac-10 foe, California, Jan. 19. OSU also has a strong lineup scheduled for the annual Salbasgeon Suites Invitational, Mar. 16, with perennial national power Utah, along with Northwest rival Washington and Division II powerhouse Seattle Pacific set to participate in the quad meet.
The Beavers will also host Arizona State (Feb. 2), UCLA (Feb. 16) and Cal State Fullerton (Mar. 23). Oregon State has road conference meets at Arizona (Jan. 26), at Stanford (Feb. 9), and at Washington (Feb. 23). OSU also has a pair of non-conference meets at Boise State (Mar. 2) and at Brigham Young University (Mar. 9).
Oregon State wraps up the regular season at the Pac-10 Championships hosted by Arizona State at Tempe, Ariz., Mar. 31.
NCAA Regional Championships are Apr. 14 and the gymnastics season concludes with the NCAA Championships Apr. 26-28 at the University of Utah.
