Johanna Olson Bio

"Johanna brings just another component of what we've been looking to do," OSU head coach Kelly Sullivan said. "She's a very talented former collegiate runner, who has a true passion to want to coach at this level. She's still continuing to train, and she's very competitive, and I think she's just a quality role model for these young ladies."
At Luther, Johanna was a seven-time Division III All-American in cross country and track, a two-time Central Region Individual Champion in cross country and a three-time Iowa Athletic Conference Individual Champion in cross country. She also was the 2000 NCAA Division III Individual National Champion in cross country.
Post-college, Johanna has been an Olympic Trials Marathon qualifier in 2004 and won the U.S. Race Series 1/2 Marathon in May, 2005.
Johanna is also pursuing her master's degree at Oregon State while she coaches.
