Fan Appreciation Day Highlights - Oregon State University Athletics

The Oregon State University women’s basketball team held its first annual Fan Appreciation Tailgate Sat., April 29 at Reser Stadium, prior to the spring football game.

The Beaver coaching staff along with student-athletes thanked the many season ticket holders from the 2005-2006 season for their support. The team exceeded expectations of many of the prognosticators by qualifying for the Women’s National Invitation Tournament, winning the opening round game.

First-year head coach spoke of the accomplishments of the team, what the 2006-2007 season holds and what her vision is for the future of the program. Seniors and also spoke on behalf of the team.
