LaVonda Wagner to Serve as Analyst for WNBA Tilt - Oregon State University Athletics

Oregon State University head women’s basketball coach will serve as analyst for FSN NW during Sunday’s Women’s National Basketball Association game between the Los Angeles Sparks and the Seattle Storm. The game marks the season opener for both teams and will begin at 6 p.m. from Key Arena.

“This is a great opportunity for me to get involved with another aspect of the game,” Wagner said. “I’ve always had a tremendous amount of respect for Storm Head Coach Anne Donavan; she’s an excellent coach and has won Championships at every level. The Los Angeles Sparks is another successful franchise, so this will be a competitive game between two excellent teams.”

Wagner just completed her first season at OSU and led the team, which was predicted to finish 10^th in the Pac-10 Conference, to a 16-15 overall mark and to the second round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
