Saturday Baseball Game Rained Out
Saturday's Pacific-10 baseball game between No. 8-ranked Oregon State and UCLA has been cancelled due to rain. The Beavers and Bruins will conclude the regular season on Sunday at 12:30 p.m., when they will meet in their regularly scheduled single game at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
Because OSU had already clinched the Pac-10 championship with Friday night's 9-2 win, Saturday's game had no bearing on the conference title and will not be made up. To attend Sunday's game, fans will need tickets issued for the Sunday game of the series. Approximately 125 tickets remain for the game and they will go on sale at 10:30 a.m. at the ballpark.
Sunday's game can be heard live on KEJO-AM (1240) in the Corvallis area but will not be broadcast on KUIK-AM (1360) in the Portland area. The game can also be seen and heard live via subscription on the internet at
