Gathering Set For NCAA Selection Show
CORVALLIS, Ore. - Fans can watch the selection show for the 2006 NCAA Baseball Championships with Oregon State’s team on Monday morning. The Beavers will gather in the club level of Reser Stadium to see the announcement of the 64-team field and the pairings for the tournament; doors will open at 9 a.m. and the selection show will be at 9:30 a.m. on ESPN.
No. 8-ranked Oregon State earned an automatic berth in the tournament by winning the Pacific-10 championship. It was the second straight conference title for the Beavers (39-13 overall, 16-6 Pac-10), who finish the regular season against UCLA on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
