Men's Soccer Assistant Coaches Depart

Anthony Latronica, who had been an assistant at OSU the past three seasons, will become an assistant coach at Harvard and the Assistant Director of Coaching for the FC Greater Boston Bolts. The Bolts are one of the top club programs in the country. Latronica will also be joining the U.S. Soccer Federation’s national coaching staff. Latronica was previously an assistant coach at Harvard from 1999-2002.
Mick McDermott, who had been an assistant at OSU the past two seasons, is headed overseas, where he’ll be the fitness coach for Al Ain, a professional soccer club in the
“Anthony and Mick have done a great job helping us continue to improve the
McDermott’s wife, Karla, had been the OSU volleyball team’s Director of Operations for two years.
The 2005 Beavers went 9-7-4 overall and placed third in the Pacific-10 Conference with a 5-5 record. OSU narrowly missed out on a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
