Game Times Set For No. 8 OSU's Baseball Series Vs. UCLA

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The game times have been changed for No. 8-ranked Oregon State’s baseball series against UCLA this weekend at the Beavers’ Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. OSU (38-13 overall, 15-6 Pacific-10) and UCLA (30-22, 12-9) will meet Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in the final series of the regular season.
The Beavers and Bruins will be playing for the Pacific-10 championship. OSU has assured itself at least a share of its second straight conference title, and any Oregon State win in the series would give Beavers sole possession of the championship; a three-game sweep by UCLA would leave the teams as co-champions.
The times on Friday and Saturday were changed to minimize the overlap with the NCAA Super Regional softball series that has California at Oregon State on those days. Sunday’s change was made to accommodate UCLA’s travel plans.
All three games can be heard live on KEJO-AM (1360) in the Corvallis area; on KUIK-AM (1360) in the Portland area, Friday’s game will be joined in progress at approximately 6:30 p.m., Saturday’s game will be heard live and there will be no broadcast of Sunday’s game. All three games can also be seen and heard live via subscription on the internet at .
