Four Oregon State Rowers Receive Scholar Athlete Awards
OSU rowers , , and were named 2006 National Scholar Athletes announced the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Monday.
The award recognizes student-athletes with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher that competed in at least 75 percent of her team’s 2006 spring races. Also, the student-athletes selected must be upperclassmen (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year) in terms of eligibility.

A total of 135 student-athletes from 50 schools were honored for their efforts during the 2006 season.
The West Region produced 23 selections, while the Mid-Atlantic Region produced the most honorees with 44 amongst 16 different schools.
