Younce First to Score Points at Pac-10 Championships Since 1988

Younce finished fifth overall with a time of 35:31.81 in the 10,000 meters scoring four points for
Her time broke the school record in that event, and her time was two minutes faster than last year’s race at the Pac-10 Championships.
Sophomore also moved up on the same list into the fourth place spot with a time of 37:09.08, and junior moved onto the list in the fifth place spot with a time of 37:10.50.
Earlier in the day, sophomore and freshman both set new personal records in the 1,500 meters finishing 15th and 17th, respectively.
And sophomore bested her 3,000 meter steeplechase time finishing in 11:08.67. Her time was 25 seconds faster than last year’s Pac-10s.
