Beavers Top Alumni in Volleyball Exhibition
OSU was led by a trio of Beavers with double digit kills including (15), (12) and (10). Defensively, set the tone at the net with six blocks. In the back row, and , who split time at libero, combined for 11 digs.
The Beavers offense was led by , who directed an efficient attack from the setter position. Evans also tossed in nine digs to lead the team.
Myers, who missed the 2005 season with a shoulder injury, showed that she intends to battle for playing time in the fall with an impressive showing. Myers tallied 10 kills, six digs, three blocks and a service ace in three games.
Saturday’s alumni match was the first time under head coach Terry Liskevych that the Beavers have exhibitioned with past players.
