OSU to Hold Girls Volleyball Camp, Coaches Clinic

There is still an opportunity for coaches to attend the "Winning Edge" Coach's Clinic July 29.
, July 23-27, is available to teams and individuals, ages 12-18, for work on the six volleyball skills: serving, passing, hitting, setting, blocking and defense. Campers will be divided onto courts according to their skill level and will increase their knowledge of the game as they develop and refine their volleyball skills. Teams of seven or more are also encouraged to attend the camp to focus on team-based tactical and technical training. The cost for individuals is $325 per overnight camper or $250 per commuter camper. The teams the cost is $300 per overnight camper and $225 per commuter camper.
Also, Liskevych and his staff offer a July 29. The coach’s clinic, which is presented by Wilson and ASICS, includes lecture and gym sessions and teaches skills and tactics that apply to coaches of all levels. The clinic further addresses offense, defense, practice planning, coaching methodology and drills. The cost of the clinic is $100 per coach, with discounts available for those who reserve their spot at the clinic by June 30.
