“We started out on the back nine and it played really rough. They played the front nine a lot better.” Head coach Rise Lakowske said after Friday’s second round. “To get in, they are going to have to shot around 290, which is very doable. They can do it, there’s no question. They just didn’t set themselves up like they wanted to, but it’s in their hands now. They have control. These greens are tough to read if you don’t know them. Jillian hit the ball very well today.”
Julianna Uhrik is tied for 21st and leads the way for the Beavers with 150 (72/78). Jillian Ferrante improved her score by 2 strokes from Thursday’s round, shooting a 3-over-par 75, which brings her two round total to 152 (77/75). Ferrante is tied for 30th. Leah Whiting shot a 76 second round, which places her in a tie for 48th with 155 (79/76). Jessi Gebhardt is tied for 84th, with 162 (78/84). Martha Burkard is tied for 104th with 173 (86/86).
