Zach Tarver - Oregon State University Athletics

JESUIT: Tarver was a two-sport standout at Jesuit, also playing basketball...he was a SuperPrep All-American as a senior, making 15 catches for 272 yards in just four games – missed most of the season with a broken finger...as a junior he had 32 receptions for 601 yards and scored 10 touchdowns...also scored one touchdown on a kickoff return and one rushing.

PERSONAL: Son of John and Jean Tarver...John played three years as a fullback for the New England Patriots and one for the Philadelphia Eagles...Zach’s older brother, Shon Tarver, was a standout basketball player at UCLA (1991-94), helping the Bruins to four NCAA Tournament appearances...Shon hit a three-point basket with five seconds remaining on Feb. 11, 1993, to propel the Bruins to a 76-75 victory over OSU at Pauley Pavilion...his sister, Taryn Tarver was a standout track athlete at Oregon...his younger brothers Josh and Seth play for the OSU basketball team – Josh redshirted last year after suffering a preseason ankle injury and Seth will be a true-freshman...undecided major.
