Mana Lolotai
KAMEHAMEHA: Lolotai (Lol-ah-tie) was a four-year letterman as a linebacker...three-time first-team All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH)...three-time second team all-state...played in the 2006 high school all-star game...high school friends with current Beaver safety Al Afalava...PrepStar ranked him the state’s best linebacker...also a standout in track in the 200 meters.
PERSONAL: Born in American Somoa...son of Tauanu’u and Nyla Lolotai...married and the couple is expecting their first child in August of 2006...has one sister, Evotia, and two brothers, Tiloi and Tevana...his grandfather, Al Lolotai, played at Weber State and went on to play for the Washington Redskins in 1945 the first Samoan to ever play in the NFL...chose OSU because of the “small town and the success of its student-athletes”...intends to major in construction management.
