The team leader in home runs with 11, Miranda moved just three shy of the school’s single-season record for runs scored as she helped the Beavers to the program’s best start through the opening 40 games of the season.
After yesterday’s announcement of the second national player of the week award for Miranda, she extended her home run hitting streak to five consecutive games by leading the Beavers to a double-header sweep of University of Oregon.
