Brianne McGowan And Vanessa Iapala Invited To 2006 USA Softball World University Games Selection Camp

McGowan, from Reno, NV, is one of just three pitchers in Oregon State history to record back-to-back 20+ win seasons from the circle and currently holds a 21-4 overall record with a team-best 1.20 ERA. McGowan is also batting .352 from the plate with eight home runs.
Iapala, from San Diego, CA, ranks in the Oregon State record book Top 10 in seven career batting categories (at-bats, runs scored, RBI, hits, doubles, home runs, bases on balls) and is OSU’s career doubles leader. She has helped the Beavers to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances and currently holds a .267 batting average.
