Canham Is Pac-10 All-Academic Second Team

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State's Mitch Canham was a second-team selection when the Pacific-10 announced its All-Academic Baseball team on Monday. The Beavers' Jacoby Ellsbury, Jake McCormick, Billy Munich and Kurt Steele all earned honorable mention.
Canham (Lake Stevens, Wash./Lake Stevens HS), a sophomore catcher, has a 3.47 grade point average and is majoring in Business Administration. He was earlier voted to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII team.
Ellsbury (Madras, Ore./Madras HS) is a junior outfielder; McCormick (Marysville, Calif./Erindale, Australia HS) is a sophomore pitcher; Munich (El Macero, Calif./Jesuit HS) is a junior catcher; and Steele (Corvallis, Ore./Crescent Valley HS) is a junior pitcher.
