Welcome Home For Baseball Team On Tuesday

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Fans are invited to welcome Oregon State's baseball team home from the College World Series on Tuesday evening at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. It is estimated that the Beavers' busses will arrive at the ballpark sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Governor Kulongoski and Corvallis mayor Helen Berg will speak.
OSU finished its season with a 46-12 record, setting a school record for wins in a season. The Beavers reached the College World Series after capturing the Pacific-10 Championship, then winning both a NCAA Regional and a NCAA Super Regional. OSU finished the season ranked No. 2 in the country in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll, the Beavers' highest-ever ranking.
