John Mayberry Joins Football Program

Corvallis, Ore. - John Mayberry has joined the Oregon State University football program, head coach Mike Riley announced Friday. He has signed a financial aid contract and will attend summer term classes.
Mayberry is a 6-5 265-pound defensive lineman from Vista High School in Vista, Calif., who will be a freshman this fall. He lettered three years and started as a junior and senior. He was a two-time first team All-Palomar League selection, and all-county and a team captain his senior season.
