Saturday's Baseball Game Rained Out

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State's baseball game against Washington State that had been scheduled for Saturday was postponed due to rain. The 16th-ranked Beavers (28-7 overall, 7-3 Pacific-10) and the Cougars (18-21, 0-10) will play a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 12 noon at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field, and both games can be heard on KEJO-AM (1240) and www.osubeavers.com.
On Saturday, heavy rains in the morning lightened to a persistent light drizzle in the afternoon. With the possibility of a break in the weather later in the afternoon, the start time was pushed back twice until the game was finally postponed at approximately 5 p.m., four hours after the originally scheduled start time.
