Corvallis, Ore. - "Beaver Nation" is invited to participate in the annual Beaver Celebrity Golf Challenge, held May 21-22 at the The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Hillsboro.
The event begins at 6 p.m. Fri., May 21 with registration and a celebrity reception at the Fifth Avenue Suites Hotel in Portland. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. followed by a celebrity auction.
Registration for the golf tournament begins at 10 a.m. Sat., May 22 with a shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m. An awards reception follows the tournament.
The tournament includes Heisman Trophy recipient Terry Baker, current Seattle Sonic and Beaver graduate Brent Barry, Oakland Raiders head coach Norv Turner, the San Diego Chargers' Drew Brees and Tim Dwight, seven-time Pro Bowl receiver Lance Alworth, radio and television personalities Bob Grim and Steve Preece, head football coach Mike Riley, and head men's basketball coach Jay John.
