CORVALLIS, Ore. - Jennifer Overlock of Corvallis and Colin Cowger of Corvallis captured Saturday's Beaver Fun Run 5K women's and men's races. Cowger finished the course, which ended on the field at Reser Stadium, with a time of 16:48, while Overlock had a mark of 18:42.
In the 10K race, Jason Hawthorne of Albany notched the winning time of 36:20, while Corvallis' Ashley Younce took the women's title at 38:48.
A total of 430 individuals participated in the Beaver Fun Run. The top three runners in each of the age categories for both the 5K/10K races were recognized during an awards ceremony following the events.
