Three Named To Pacific-10 All-Academic Baseball Team

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State's Jacoby Ellsbury, Billy Munich and Ben Rowe received honorable mention when the Pacific-10 Conference named its Baseball All-Academic Team on Wednesday. To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and be either a starter or significant contributor to their team.
Rowe (Perth, Australia/Greenwood HS), a senior pitcher, was named to the team for the third time. He has a 3.12 GPA while majoring in Business Administration.
Ellsbury (Madras, Ore./Madras HS), a sophomore outfielder, was named to the team for the first time. He has a 3.19 GPA while majoring in Business.
Munich (El Macero, Calif./Jesuit HS), a sophomore catcher, was named to the team for the first time. He has a 3.17 GPA while majoring in Construction Engineering Management.
