Spring Game Tickets on Sale Friday in Portland; Available now at OSU.

Corvallis, Ore. - Advance ticket sales for the 2003 Oregon State University Spring Football Game at Reser Stadium are on sale now at the OSU Athletic Ticket Office and begin Friday (April 11) at the Beaver Fan Shop in Portland. The Fan Shop is located at the intersection of Second and Alder Streets.
Proceeds from the Spring Game benefit the OSU Faculty Emergency Fund for Students. The OSU Faculty Senate approved the creation of an emergency fund that will help students offset a surcharge required by the university to help fill a budget gap created by recent reductions in state appropriations.
Admission is free to OSU students with OSU ID and for children 12 years and under. Tickets may by purchased in advance for $3.00 at the OSU Ticket Office in Gill Coliseum (109) or the Beaver Fan Shop in downtown Portland. Advance sales must be in person; phone orders will not be accepted. Tickets will be priced at $5.00 at Reser Stadium on game day, April 26.
The Beaver Fan Shop is the Portland branch store of the Oregon State University Bookstore. The OSU Beaver Fan Shop, which features sportswear and gift items, is open Monday through Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm, Saturdays 10:00am - 5:00pm, and Sunday's Noon - 5:00 pm.

As the excitement of the 2003 OSU football season approaches, what better way to start the "Countdown to Kick-Off" than with a one-of-a-kind,10K, 5K race/walk, full of Beaver pride and spirit!
As you near the finish line into Reser Stadium, wave to the OSU cheerleaders rooting you on, bask in the glory as you finish down the player's ramp, through the inflatable football helmet. Then smile - you're on the Jumbotron! Cross the finish line to the band playing the OSU fight song and take your picture with Benny Beaver!
Congratulate yourself on a race well done and join in on a full day of festivities. Try-out the Fan Fair games, obtain autographs from the football team, and watch the 2003 Spring Football game! It's fun for the whole family!
