SCHEDULE: The Beavers travel to San Diego, California for the 2002 San Diego Crew Classic. Colleges and clubs from throughout the country will be competing in the two-day regatta. Times for individual races are as follows:
Saturday, April 2 8:30 am - Whitier Cup Heat #2 (Varsity 8) 10:20 am - Women's JV Heat #2 (2nd Varsity 8) 11:30 am - Women's Novice 8 Heat #3 (Novice 8) Sunday, April 3 - OSU Race times TBD
RACING WITH THE BEST: "It's going to be tough," said head coach Charlie Owen. "In the varsity eight race, the top three crews advance to the grand final, and three of the boats in our heat finished in the top ten at the NCAA Championships last year. So we definitely have our work cut out for us."
