March 29, 2002
ATLANTA, Ga. - Oregon State University senior guard Felicia Ragland won Thursday's Women's 3-point Championship as sponsored by Intersport in conjunction with ESPN. Ragland was one of eight competitors in the women's field and took away first place honors after winning a tie-breaker with Florida's Brandi McCain in the finals.
Ragland will be showcased in a two-hour ESPN telecast that will be seen on Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m. PST.
The 5-9 guard reigns as the most prolific 3-point shooter in Oregon State history with 178 treys in her career. Her 69 3-pointers during the 2001-02 season broke her own OSU single-season mark of 62, set during the 2000-01 campaign.
