Since its grand opening in 1988, Trysting Tree has developed into one of the Northwest's finest public golf courses and one of the nation's premier collegiate facilities. In September of 1998, Golfweek Magazine named Trysting Tree Golf Course the third best college golf course on the West Coast. Trysting Tree Golf Club is located just five minutes from the OSU campus, situated on the east bank of the Willamette River. It is a versatile golf course varying in length from 5,500 to 7,100 yards and carries a par of 72. Trysting Tree offers a variety of shots, and golfers can experience all types of weather conditions. Trysting Tree Golf Club also has a great practice facility, for the long and short game. The Trysting Tree Golf Course has been specially set up for this event, lengthening the course to 7,050 with the use of brand new tee boxes on holes 8, 9, and 11, as well as growing out the fairway and greenside rough. This golf course will give each player a fair test of championship golf. We wish all of you the best of luck and continued success with your programs.
