OSU Names Roos, Bobek Academic Athletes Of The Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. - A pair of crew athletes, Abby Roos and Sam Bobek, were named Oregon State's academic student-athletes of the week, it was announced Thursday.
Roos, a senior from Newberg and a graduate of Sherwood High School, is a two-year letter winner and is in her third year as a member of the Beavers' varsity eight women's boat. Roos is in the College of Liberal Arts and is a liberal studies major with a 3.73 GPA.
Bobek, a senior from Astoria, is a graduate of Warrenton High School. He has earned one letter and is in his second year as a member of OSU's varsity eight. Bobek is in the College of Science and is a Biology major with a 3.96 overall GPA.
Roos and Bokeb were selected academic student-athletes for the week of March 5-11.
