NCAA Gymnastics Field, Pairings Announced

The Oregon State gymnastics team, making its first NCAA Championship appearance since 1996, will open up the 2000 NCAA Championships at Boise State by competing in the afternoon session of the April 13 preliminary team competition.
The afternoon session begins at 12 p.m. PDT and also features defending national champion Georgia, along with Alabama, Utah, BYU and LSU.
UCLA, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Iowa State and West Virginia will compete in the evening session at 6 p.m. PDT.
The Beavers will begin the competition on the uneven bars and then move to beam. OSU then will have a bye before competing on floor. The Beavers then head to vault and will finish the meet with a bye.
The top three teams from each session will advance to the Super Six competition on April 14. Individual event finals will take place April 15.
Tickets for the three-day event can be purchased through the Oregon State ticket office (1-800-GO-BEAVS) through Thursday, April 6. Tickets are $31.50 for adults, with a youth package (HS and under) available for $23.50. Fans who wish to purchase tickets after Thursday must call the Boise State ticket office at (208) 426-4737.
Also, anyone wishing to attend the All-American Awards brunch on Saturday, April 15 should contact the Boise State ticket office. Tickets for the brunch are $25 per person.
